FootballSSG Community Links
In the years since FootballSSG was established, we’ve worked hard (and been very well supported in our endeavours by our players and spectators) to create a safe, fun, inclusive and social experience for everyone involved.
I love, for example, that our teams will almost always consist of players from a mix of winter clubs, or a mix of playing skills. I love that players from different teams are happy to fill in for other teams when they’re short. I love that FootballSSG has, I feel, evolved in to so much more that just a game of football ... I get a real sense of belonging and community ... and I think most of our participants do too.
To extend that out a little further, we are welcoming every FootballSSG participant that has an involvement with a business (be it small, medium or large) to send us an email with your business details and we will place that info on this page of the web site at the next opportunity. Everyone needs a plumber, an electrician, a mechanic, a mortgage broker, a personal trainer, an investment advisor, a gardener (or even an IT consultant) from time to time.
This page will be maintained as a no-cost community-based notice board of local businesses. We’re calling it the Community Links.
