FootballSSG competitions are held at Pittwater Rat Park, North Narrabeen and Brookvale Oval, Brookvale FootballSSG are Manly Warringah summer soccer competitions run mid-week, on your choice of Tuesday or Thursday afternoons and evenings We created the FootballSSG to aid in the ongoing growth and development of the game of football, and in particular, to aid in the natural development of player’s technical skills The basics of FootballSSG and futsal are very similar. Most of the rules are similar including: the size of the field; the non-contact nature of play; and the length of the matches. The key and fundamental difference between FootballSSG and futsal is that we play on turf and use a turf ball (like you would use in your full-sized-field winter competition). This is because we want our players to improve their technical football skills, something we feel is best done using the ball and the surface they will experience in their regular winter competition. You might just want to have fun. You might want to improve or enhance your fitness. All of these are valid reasons to play FootballSSG, Manly Warringah summer soccer. And it helps to improve tactical skills such as using space, passing and moving and playing a through ball.

Registration Information For All Age Groups

Registrations for the Spring 2021 season are now closed.

Registrations for our Monday afternoon/evening Summer competition that will kick off at the end of January will open soon.

You may want to follow us on Twitter and/or Facebook (Twitter works best as you’ll receive notifications moments after we send them) as we will post on those medias when the registration system is online.

The registration form is available from the link at the bottom of this page (please read the info before clicking through).

Please note that because of the extraordinary times we are living in and information that is imperative each individual player is aware of, the Team Registration Form is again not being used this season and each player needs to register themselves.

Players in the team you have organised can register themselves and the team will form up automatically in the system, so long as everyone enters the same details for the Competition/Age Group ... the Team Name ... and the Team Manager.

There is nothing special that the organiser needs to do first - they just register themself/their child the same as everyone else in the team.

Players registering without a team should use the same form and follow the instructions to leave the TEAM NAME and MANAGER NAME fields “as is” so that we know to work hard to find a team for you to play in.

We do expect competitions to be completely full again this year, as has been the case (particularly at Rat Park) for the past six seasons.

If we receive applications for more teams than we can accommodate, teams will be allocated a place in the competition based on the date/time that they have a fully-registered team. A fully-registered team is a team that has at least 8 players registered and the date/time will be determined by the registration of the 8th player in the team.

Early bird registrations (those received before July 15th) are available at discounted fees as listed below:
Under 6, Under 7 and Under 8 ... $190
Under 9, Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 ... $200
Under 17, Open Age and Over 35 ... $210

Registrations received after July 15th are available at standard fees as listed below:
Under 6, Under 7 and Under 8 ... $215
Under 9, Under 10, Under 12 and Under 14 ... $225
Under 17, Open Age and Over 35 ... $235

There are no discounts available for late registrations (received after August 31st) and importantly, late registrations take seven days to be processed ... so, for example, if a player registers on September 15th they will not be able to start playing until September 22nd.
